Coaching & Consulting
Counseling also referred to as therapy, psychotherapy or talk therapy or is a one-on-one process between the client (you) and your therapist (licensed therapist). Your therapist helps you to explore an emotional, relationship or mental health challenges. The relationship between the therapist and client is called a therapeutic relationship and is safe, nurturing and confidential where the client feels free and unencumbered to be explore their thoughts, beliefs, feelings, behaviors without judgment. For more information about therapy and our Initial intake consultation, download our FAQs and Consultation guide.
Group Therapy is therapy that involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time. At our practice, our groups includes a minimum of 6 and maximum of 8 people. We offer Group therapy as a single service; however, many people choose to complement their group therapy with individual therapy for a more comprehensive treatment plan.
To become licensed to practice independently, a provisionally licensed mental health clinician must complete a minimum number of hours under the clinical supervision of an approved clinical supervisor. If you would like to schedule an appointment with Marjorie, please click here.
